We have had a few admin and Morgan Center officials bare their contempt for alums in emails and have exposed them online before so it will come as no surprise that there are more among them. However, the crassness with which this newly outed tone deaf administrator goes about baring his contempt might make him a winner. Let me give him an intro.
If you are looking for a name directly linked to the Adidas basketball uniform mess, and every mess associated with Adidas, you need to look no further than Glenn Toth, Sr. Associate Athletic Director at Morgen Center. He is on Dan's senior staff. When Deadspin revealed emails sent to and from Dan Guerrero and Adidas staff, Glenn Toth's contact information was among those exposed. I emailed Dan and his counterpart at Adidas a few days ago about how horribly they handled the mess and cc'd Glenn. Glenn replied ... 3 times. At first it was basically one-liners to goad me into doing or saying something I suspect, but I wouldn't bite. Then the firing leak, late night press release denying it and then final official firing the next day happened. So, I emailed Glenn again. This is the email and his response (his email was made public by Deadspin so I leave it here unmasked. Feel free to email him!):

I have a suggestion for you: go back to school, finish your GED, leave your current job as a crossing guard, and endeavor to move up to the lower class. Good luck.

I see that your boss Chianti Dan embarrassed himself and UCLA once again. He is such an amateur. Issuing a press release on late Saturday night saying that Howland had not been fired when it was clear to everyone that he soon would be anyway is idiotic enough. But add to that fact that Chianti Dan KNEW he was going to fire him anyway and that the press release DIDN'T say the Howland would be the coach next season thereby putting the rumors to rest (which would be the ONLY reason to issue a press release at that time), compounds the idiocy. How does it look like now when less than 24 hours later Chianti Dan fires Howland officially?! Then finally, to add yet more stupidity and embarrassment to UCLA, he can't even get the press release grammatically correct. Fucking amateur and moron. You all need to go ... please leave! If you have any shred of decency you would all resign immediately. Please leave, please!
Well, you can see that he is patronizing, condescending and contemptuous of me, an alum, just because I criticized his handling of the Adidas fiasco and the way the Athletic Dept. has run things. This is a great example of the arrogance and idiocy ruining our program. By the way, he also had this to say about the unis:

Seriously?! WTF?! "You won't hate it so much in person" ... sounds like a great marketing slogan Glenn, and setting such great heights to aspire to will really inspire our athletes, students, alums and staff. Great job Glenn. Now please leave.
