Meet and Greet Happy Hours with the Moras, Practices, and More.

Here's a great opportunity to learn about the Jim and Shannon Mora Count on Me Foundation.

Shannon and Jim Mora will be hosting another meet and greet for their Count on Me Foundation in the Los Angeles area. This time the meet and greet will be held at Galpin Motors in North Hills, tomorrow night (Wednesday, March 27th), from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (link). I am posting this again because I think this is an incredible foundation, helping kids in the Los Angeles area who really need our help. The event is free and provides a wonderful opportunity to meet both Jim and Shannon, to hear about their foundation, and to find ways you can help. While the focus of the event will be the foundation, there will be plenty of UCLA football talk as well, at least there was at the one I attended. Space is limited, but there are a few spots left (an RSVP is needed). I had a great time at the Manhattan Beach event which you can read about here.

Shannon also said they are going to be holding an event after one of the Saturday practices:

We're having our official Count On Me Foundation Launch immediately after spring ball practice on Saturday, April 20th. Along with the press conference, we're inviting kiddos from the organizations we'll be supporting to attend to watch the end of practice then have fun on the field with Bruins players and more! Details to follow!

So there is one more great reason to attend a practice. The big fundraising event, The Jim Mora Celebrity Golf Classic, is taking place on May 20th at the Riviera Country Club. I know they are looking for players, sponsors, and volunteers. Here is the link to the foundation where you can sign up and get more information.

And speaking of practices, I just wanted to once again let people know that JoeBruin15, Mexibruin, and I are going to be gathering for Saturday practices (and breakfast before hand) and invite you to join us. Joe got this started and you can get more information here.
