Good News- Baseball

UCLA pulls out the 3rd game of the series against ASU. Final score in a slugfest that took 10 innings- UCLA 12, ASU 10.

UCLA took an early lead 6-2, fell behind 8-7, took the lead 10-8, gave back the lead on a two out 2 run homer in the bottom of the 9th. UCLA took the lead for good in the 10th on a Trent Chatterton single, Kevin Kramer hit by pitch, Pat Valaika sac bunt, and a 2 run single by Kevin Williams through the drawn in infield.

UCLA is now 6-3 in the conference. Oregon is 5-1 and is going for the sweep tonight against Washington. And Oregon St, next week's opponent at Jackie Robinson, is also 5-1 and is playing out of conference this weekend.

First up for UCLA- a non-conference home game against Fullerton on Tuesday.
