It's April 2, and what that means, unlike the earlier post re: Chianti Dan being relieved of his duties by Gene Block, this isn't an April Fool's joke: Jim Mora and UCLA football are back! Today marks the first spring practice session at Spaulding Field, with practice anticipated to last about two hours this morning.
The Bruins will hit Spaulding Field at 7 a.m. PST, so if you can make it out there, feel free to share your notes, observations, analysis, etc. as we get ready for the second year of the Jim Mora era in Westwood. If you feel like you're not yet ready for football, especially given all of the news following Howland's firing and yet another Chianti Dan botched coaching search, you can catch up by going through our two-year depth chart projections (special teams, defense, offense) and/or our position-by-position spring football preview (return game, kickers & long snappers, defensive backs, linebackers, defensive line, offensive line, receiving corps, running backs, and of course, quarterbacks).
