The Bruins will hold their final spring practice at Spaulding this morning at 7am. Coach Jim Mora said yesterday that the Bruins would practice without pads today, so this should be a light workout and will probably focus on some situational play as the Bruins wrap up their 2013 spring camp.
This morning's practice is free and open to the public and should last about 2 hours.
The final spring appearance for our football team will be the Spring Showcase this Saturday at the 5 pm Rose Bowl. Info on the event can be found here and here. Admission to the Spring Game is free, and there are free buses from U.C.L.A. for the students. Though the Rose Bowl is charging for parking, the lots open at noon and tailgating is welcome. Following the Showcase, which will feature a scrimmage, drills, and player interviews, there will be a fireworks show.
5 pm Sat @ RB-FREE buses from Ucla for students, FREE admission for all, Football, Fun, Band, Spirit Squad, Contests, Autographs, Fireworks— Jim Mora (@UCLACoachMora) April 25, 2013
Coach Mora wants 50,000 Bruin fans to show up, so let's fill (half) the Rose Bowl on Saturday.
For anyone getting up early, this is your open thread to share your thoughts and any happenings from this morning's practice. We'll have a wrap-up and analysis on today's events later this afternoon.
