I, for one, think Bruins Nation has a lot of power. We may have our differences here and there, but we all agree (well, the realistic ones anyway) that there are two big problems affecting UCLA – Chancellor Block and Dan Guerrero. Unfortunately, one of them has taken his ineptness to another level with the news of Southern Cal taking two prominent neuroscientists from UCLA.
As we’ve seen many times with Morgan Center releasing some sort of "statement" after many of their failures have been discussed here (e.g. Keeping Neuheisel after the 50-0 debacle, Alford’s pathetic apology, the Adidas fiasco, etc.), we’ve assumed Chianti and Block have received kickbacks by Adidas for the renewal of the apparel contract and the non-statements regarding the poor treatment of workers in Indonesia. We haven’t seen any proof regarding these kickbacks, but we’re all anxiously waiting for them to appear.
Many of us are displeased with the product Adidas has released for UCLA. We can all agree that UCLA deserves a product that shows the greatness of UCLA, keeps her tradition, and makes it visible and available for the masses. As I walked through the mall with my brother today looking for some Nike’s, I saw something from the corner of my eye that caught my attention.
It has been noted by some here that our dear friend Nestor has and will continue to be a Howler. Many discussions have been made of why UCLA has not rid itself of Adidas. Well, I saw proof today the power one BN person has and why we’re still with Adidas. See for yourself.
P.S. Sorry, bro. I couldn't help myself when I saw this.
