Quest For #109 - Men's Golf

The #3-ranked UCLA men's golf team will try to bring home NCAA Title #109 this week at the Capital City Country Club in Woodstock, Georgia. The bad news is that Patrick Cantlay turned pro after last year's tournament . . . the good news is that two-time defending champs, Augusta State, did not make the finals, and will not be around should we finish in the Top 8 for the "match play" portion of the tournament (which was implemented in 2011 and possibly cost us two titles).

Keep in mind that we really only need to be in the top 8 after day 3 to qualify for the dreaded match play phase. #1-ranked Cal is one of the favorites, along with Alabama and UCLA.
