Need your help with a video (NMSU game)

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Bumped. This sounds like an awesome project and hope folks can help 805 out by tweeting out requested video links to @ewcorpuz. GO BRUINS. - BN Eds.

Hey BN,

I was thinking about making another highlight video (I was the person who posted this video). I'm hoping to make it in the style of this video.

So I was hoping to get some fan-generated video. Here's what I posted on BRO:

I'm going to try to put together something similar for the NMSU game. What I'm hoping you can do is to get some footage from the Den which the person filming the video can then upload to YouTube. I'm posting this on some of the message boards, and here's what I wrote:

Once you've uploaded them to YouTube, you can send links to me via twitter (just tweet @ewcorpuz) and I'll try to match up some of the best ones with the corresponding game clip. In the YouTube description, please indicate which play your clip is a reaction to (i.e. "Jordon James' 25 yard TD run" or "Anthony Barr's pick-6 in the 2nd quarter").

In the interest of completing this in a timely manner, I'm going to request that clips are tweeted to me by 5:00 pm Sunday (so I can work on this for a few hours before I watch Breaking Bad).

My three guidelines:

1. Do not film any clips holding your camera vertically. Unless you are sending me an HD copy of the Zapruder film, I refuse to use any video shot vertically. Turn the camera phone sideways. (sorry, this is just a major pet peeve of mine)

2. Try avoid "selfies" (i.e. videos where you turn the camera towards yourself) because we'll just end up with a huge video of your face taking up 2/3 of the screen

3. I know it'll be tough, but try to be as still as possible when filming. You'll never be 100% stationary, but if the video is filmed while you are jumping up and down, it's probably not gonna work.

I'm anticipating getting a ton of 8-clap videos, but I'll probably only use a few of them. Try to mix it up a bit. I might put in a few shots of pre-game tailgate action, so feel free to send some of those. But I want the majority of the clips to be of fan reaction to scores. So high-fives, hugs, yelling, clapping is all cool. Both close shots (i.e. the crowd immediately surrounding you) and far shots (reaction of the section across from you) would be appreciated.

Feel free to also send clips of the Pasquale tribute, but at this time it's not my intention to make this a video that's consisting totally of that (although if I get enough clips maybe I can convince BruinBoxer to make that one).

Thanks so much! Let's see if we can get this to work!
