If true, beyond disgraceful. - BN Eds.
I'm sure they'll respond with a technically true excuse about how this fall under the responsibility of the Student Store.
But, Uclaluv is telling me (from the game) that "they" only ordered 800 "36" shirts.
She has described a situation where people are walking from booth to booth looking for a Pasquale tribute shirt, and they are all sold out. In her words, half the people at the Rose Bowl would want one.
Ok, there is no real way to determine that but let's play with numbers anyway. The Rose Bowl seats 92,500. If only half the seats are sold, that comes to 46,250. If only half of those people wanted a shirt, That's 23,125 people minus 800 shirts they did bring, means 22,325 people go without.
Now, I'm the first to agree that was an entirely unscientific method of determining the numbers. But, in Uclaluv's text messages to me, she was noticeably upset. Enough to ask me to post something. Again, she mentions a number of people walking from booth to booth looking for shirts.
There are tens of thousands people at the Rose Bowl. They brought 800 shirts.
