Trogan-to-English: Cody Kessler

Stephen Dunn

The Earth-shaking pronouncement that Cody Kessler will start at QB for the University of Spoiled Children has been met with, shall we say, subdued enthusiasm at Troy. Most frequent comments by Trogans were "Fire Kiffin" and "Use Browne" (who wasn't in the running). But all of that was predictable.

What wasn't predictable was the first (top secret) introduction of Cody to the team, as translated below.

Kiffin: we're giving you the best receiver in the country to throw to.

Kessler: great.

Kiffin: we're giving you an excellent second receiver, too.

Kessler: good.

Kiffin: now the offensive line you'll be playing behind, well it is offensive. But not very good.

Kessler: crap.

Kiffin: best of all, I will personally call all of the plays for you.

Kessler: aaugh!

Haden: Lane is a dynamic (not a good) play caller. We improved the defense by removing one Kiffin, so I expect we will improve the offense by removing another one pretty soon.
