Seriously, it's nice to see some creative marketing come from the Athletic Department.*
Even if they are offering folks free admission, at least three things will come from this.
One is more fans in the seats. That's NEVER a bad thing unless you're filling the seats with fans from other schools. I'm looking at you, Mark Harlan!
Two is more parking and concessions revenue for UCLA. You are going to need to park and you have to eat. 'Nuff said.
Three is potential repeat business. Maybe folks will enjoy themselves and come out again and actually buy tickets next time!
So, this definitely falls into the category of creative marketing. Good job (for once)!
