Coach Mora Knows What it Means to be a Bruin

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

On Saturday, CBS will feature Coach Jim Mora and the Count on Me Foundation. Game Changers will air a short segment highlighting the excellence Coach Mora is bringing to our program. In this case, I mean excellence in character. It will highlight his work with our team and his contributions in the community. I for one am really proud of the work he and Shannon Mora do in the community and the integrity, values, and care he brings to our football team and program. He is an excellent example of what U.C.L.A. and Bruin athletics are supposed to be about and I am grateful for all the effort he makes to demonstrate those values.

Here is the promo for the episode:

Game Changers will air at 8:30 am Pacific Time, this Saturday:

Game Changers celebrates sports figures who reach out to their communities and make a better life for others. The show highlights professionals in sports who use their public image to make a positive change in the lives of people and fans in need.

I know we are what they mean by fans in need, but thank goodness for the positive change he has brought to us!

Game Changers takes an inspirational look at how sports and sports figures can positively impact individuals and the communities they serve.

I hope everyone will be able to watch the program, and even more importantly see how they might be able to help The Count on Me Foundation this year. Shannon Mora has reached out to us to get the word out and many of us here have helped in the past. There will be more on this later, but for now you can go to the site and see how you can help and make a donation. This year's major fundraiser will be held on May 19th at the Riviera Country Club. So if you would like to play, be a sponsor, or volunteer save the date and go to the event's website to find out how you can help.
