What a thriller....double OT, game ends in a blocked shot followed by a slam dunk by ASU to win it and fans rush the court....but wait! There's 0.7 seconds left. A last second attempt three by Zona almost goes in and ASU fans rush the court (for the 2nd time).
I love Bill Walton, but he says, "rushing the court should not be allowed in college basketball...its not safe....this is not safe." I strongly disagree. College sports are about emotion. Yes, its not safe....but if you're a student, you deserve to do this at least once in your life time. It brought me back to my senior year, 2007 at the Rose Bowl when 13-9 happened and there was no rushing the field. Call me crazy, but I like rushing the field/court.
I wanted to get everyone else's thoughts on what they feel about rushing the court or field?
One other note: As I was watching the game, I couldn't help but think...holy cow...what if Zona loses two more times and UCLA sneaks into the top spot in the PAC....that would be PERFECT! More fuel for TIARA to go back to IU!
