I just got an ESPN update (but there is no story to explain) that Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams have been suspended for one game and will not play against Oregon tonight for violating team rules. Does anybody have any information on this subject? If this happens, what will our lineup look like? Alford and LaVine will probably start (unless he puts Parker in with LaVine as the first sub) but who else has averaged more than half a minute in the last 15 games? Although I don't have the statistics in front of me, my guess is nobody. Wannah Bail and Noah Allen should be getting some minutes, but who comes off the bench after that?
Pros: We are giving some playing time to some more guys before March
Coach Alford is showing that no matter who you are, you must play by the rules on this team.
Cons: Kyle Anderson's reputation will be extremely decreased
We have no idea what the outcome of this game will be, given that Travis Wear scored a last minute shot to put us above Oregon last time around.
I have never written a fanpost and I have found no articles online to back this up (it was just a notification that popped up from ESPN). If this turns out to be true, how can we win this game? I don't want to hear how you think Coach Alford will screw this up, but how can we win this game? Who needs to step up? What is the best way to approach this scenario?
