UCLA Football Schedules Home Game v. Fresno State in 2018

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

ICYMI:

UCLA Football will host Fresno State at the Rose Bowl on September 15, 2018, adding to a growing number of non-conference dates announced for the coming years.

Both UCLA and Fresno State ranked in the Top 25 at the end of the regular season last year. The Bulldogs won the Mountain West Conference and finished with an 11-2 record in 2013. UCLA leads the all-time series with Fresno State, 6-2, and are 4-1 against the Bulldogs at the Rose Bowl.

In the last seven months, UCLA has announced future games with Texas A&M (2016/2017), Oklahoma (2018/2019), San Diego State (2019/2020), Rutgers (2020/2021), LSU (2021/2024) and Michigan (2022/2023).

Last time Bruins hosted Fresno State at the Rose Bowl Morgan Center decided to directly market the game to Fresno State fans, putting $$ over the best interest of the UCLA football program in their priority list. If Mora is around in 2018, I am guessing they will not make that move again.

GO BRUINS.
