Bruins Nation has lead the charge for UCLA Football to become relevant in the modern era (post-2000's) and break away from the Terry Donahue-Bob Fields (Peter Dalis) residuals. UCLA did the right thing and graciously and publicly recognized Geof Strand (and rightfully awarded he and wife lifelong seats in the Alumni section at Rose Bowl)!
Is it time to let go of Chris Roberts??? Should UCLA make a very bold move and bring in Compton-born and Ivy League (Columbia) educated Marcellus Vernon Wiley to be our new announcer? Marcellus has great "Gravitas" here being part of the ESPN 710 "Max and Marcellus" (Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley show). Like CJM, Marcellus brings NFL experience to the broadcast booth, again bringing that unique player perspective to the broadcast.
What are your thoughts about the future of the UCLA Football program in the modern era and the changing of the guard in the broadcast booth?? Go Bruins!
