Finally. I have been waiting for the PAC-12 Network to make it to UCLA and now they have. Tonight they will be airing their hour long segment on UCLA's training camp at 9 p.m. pacific time. Okay, so do we now know why Denzel was at practice yesterday? If you can not dvr, vcr, whatever r the show, it will re-air multiple times and you can see the full UCLA schedule here. After the show airs, you can also watch it on the internets (along with all the other teams' segments) at the PAC-12's website. (Look to the right when you get there.)
Rick Neuheisel and Mike Yam have been visiting training camps, showing video, and interviewing coaches and players as they preview each team for the 2014 season on their show, "Pac-12 Football Training Camp". At 8 pm, they will also be airing "Under Center with Rick Neuheisel" and Brett Hundley. In the later hours and tomorrow, you can catch last year's UCLA victory over southern cal, followed by other UCLA games from the past year. Check their site for times and games and their preview of the UCLA season here.
This would also be a great time to remind everyone that the Pac-12 Network has been filming for their series "The Drive" which is following our Bruin football team this year. Last year they followed Berkeley and ASU. This year their sole focus will be UCLA. "The Drive" will begin airing next Wednesday at 7pm pacific time and continue throughout the season. From the website:
For the second season, Pac-12 Networks goes behind the scenes with The Drive: Pac-12 Football to give viewers an unprecedented, all-access look at UCLA's quest for the Pac-12 Championship. The documentary-style program will showcase the student-athletes, coaches and the dedication it takes to compete at the highest level.
There is already a good deal of content (photos, video) available at the show's site but probably none better than this:
While we are at it, you might take a look at tWWL's "Drive Through" of their defensive pre-season All-Americans. They have Myles Jack on the list but discuss whether Eric Kendricks might be the Bruins best line-backer.
I need to go set my Tivo before I forget!
Go Bruins!
