U$C Appears to Have Hired Former UCLA Assistant Bob Connelly as Their Next O-Line Coach

There hasn't been an official announcement but multiple sources including USCFootball.com and ReignOfTroy.com are reporting that U$C will be hiring Bob Connelly as their next offensive line coach.

For those who don't remember, Connelly was Karl Dorrell's last O-Line coach. In 2007 (his only year with the Bruins), our O-Line was rated 102nd in the country in sacks allowing 2.77 sacks per game.

Since leaving Westwood, Connelly has coached at UTEP, ASU and Oklahoma State. 2009 and 2010 not withstanding, his offensive lines have mostly been as bad as that 2007 UCLA O-Line as far as Sacks Allowed go.

As usual, BruinsNation exposed Bob Connelly for being a terrible coach before ever coaching a down in Westwood.

So, in other words, I would be shocked to see Just$c's O-Line be one of the tops in football next season. There's just too much data to suggest otherwise.

But, then again, after the performance of UCLA's Offensive Line this past season, Seven-Win Sark probably looks at Connelly as a better choice than our current O-Line coach Adrian Klemm whom he tried to poach last season.
