For those of you that believe we have a chance to win a National Championship without significant Improvement in our defense are completely delusional. This would be a highly improbable outcome.
The problem with this strategy is that it requires all of our top six players to have good offensive games in order to give us a very High chance of winning. Against top 30 level team, it requires at least five of the top six players having a very good offensive games. This would at least keep us in the game against this high level of competition. if only four out of the six have good offensive games, we likely lose.
No matter what our seeding is, there's a good chance that we play top 30 level competition starting in the round of 32 which would theoretically require us to win five straight games against this high level of competition in order to win the championship. This level of offensive consistency is just too hard to maintain.
