No matter how you feel, no matter where you stand, it is impossible not to feel happy for Head Coach Karl Dorrell when you watch this video.

It's making the rounds today on the various Bruin sites and deserves to be here, too.

Pat Forde says what Nestor has been saying all along...UCLA should always be good for at least 8 wins a season:

UCLA -- Is there a compelling reason why the Bruins shouldn't be good for at least eight wins a year? Didn't think so. Then why have they won fewer than that 12 times in the last 18 years? They haven't been consistent national players since the 1980s.

This comes from his list of high profile underacheivers from the past 23 seasons.

Great game

Vid's been out for a while but good to look back. One helluva game to be at. It's time for Dorrell's squad to repeat at the Coliseum.

BTW, any self-defense measures I should take there? I'm a sophomore and don't know what to expect.

It all depends

There are those who simply duck and cover. Nothing wrong with this strategy.

There are those (like me) who have more of a mean streak. Bring your scissors (to cut the strings of the bear nooses that they like to make) and while I don't like to take liquid filled projectiles, you might find it necessary. Bring your mental dictionary of four letter words and/or a sign that reminds them of either 13-9 or the dogfighter.

Then there are those who get ripped and get into fights. I do not recommend this.

I am also a Soph

But i did attend the game two years ago with my brother who is now a Senior and a group of about 15 of his friends. We parked on the other side of campus. As we walked to the stadium, down the center of campus, we chanted OJ Simpson clap clap; clap clap clap double murder (claps). Also, Holly Ashcroft and dumpster baby to the same clap sequence. She was the student that left her baby in a dumpster and just recently had the murder case dismissed again for manslaughter charges. We of course threw in many 8 claps and UC-LA chants. It gets pretty fun at some points. However, we had many beverages thrown at us and a few guys even ran in front and mooned us. (ya umm?) It was definitely one of the best experiences of college football that i have had. That is up until game time.
