So here we go. Looks like there is a little chance for Luc or Lorenzo to be available tonight. Without those two warriors, Coach Howland's take on their toughest test to date at probably the most hostile gym in the Pac-10. And there is all the shenanigans around the return to Oregon for Kevin Love.

It will be a circus. And we hope Kevin and his team-mates will be ready to fight, scratch, and claw in every single possession:

W/O Luc and Mata, things will be much tougher. I think Keefe will step up his game though. Hopefully Stanback can make some things happen too. It's going to be a battle in Eugene tonight.

Keys to 2nd half.
(1)  Defensive footwork on perimeter -- if DC or RW get fouls in the first 5 minutes, things will get tough.

(2)  K-Love adjustments -- Oregon will make them, he has to be ready to pass to the open guys when they collapse.

(3)  DC on offense -- gotta finish on those chippies, man.

(4)  Bench scoring -- we need some good clean-up putbacks from Keefe and shots from Drago, and maybe Stanback, if he gets in, to ease the pressure on the starters.

Will not explain how tight of a game this really was, and how tough Oregon played our guys, and how really badly we executed for about 30 minutes.

BUT our warriors came back with a vengeance when it counted and get us a well fought victory in hostile territory.

Gutsy win
UCLA made the key stops the last couple minutes of the game. UO went from shooting 54% down to 47% for the game. Nikola Dragovic may have had his breakout game as he stepped up big time in crunch time. Keefe unfortunately fouled out after finally getting some rhythm. Hopefully those 2 carry over to the OSU game.

Big Sigh of relief
That game was FAR too close for comfort, but LOVE with statistically his best game (26 pts, 18 boards,  8 offensive rebounds and only 3 fouls) just put it away.  Add DC getting his career high with 21 points helps a lot.

NOT having Lo-Mata-Real and Luc certainly made things difficult, but I thought Dragovic really filled in nicely, and even though Keefe fouled out, I thought his three was important.
