'73 National Champs honored at Sunday's MBB game

They were honored at halftime, including the managers, who are now the score keepers for the men's basketball games. Larry Farmer was coaching and couldn't be there. "Former UCLA center Swen Nater sang the Star Spangled Banner before the game. Nater and other members of UCLA's 1973 NCAA championship team, including Bill Walton and Jamaal Wilkes, were honored at halftime. "

Congratulations ladies. They were honored in the State Capitol. Lost count of how many UCLA alums there in Sacramento. Story:

A pretty face went to the game

Who let Taylor Lautner in Pauley Pavilion at Thursday's basketball game? Was he there really to support the Bruins? Photo posted by the UCLA Spirit Squad.

O'Bannon NCAA lawsuit feature on CNN

Barring something crazy in the news happening! It is just over 3 mintues in length. I am guessing they will have the reporter, Ted Rowlands, on to expound on it. My understanding is this will first air on CNN Newsroom during 10A EST hour. The show is hosted by Carol Costello. The show does start at 9A EST. So if you want to not miss it you may want to set your DVRs an hour earlier. After it airs I anticipate it will be posted to the web around 11a so you can also watch it then. It will also show a glimpse into his current life and the interview itself was pretty decent with Ed talking about why he sued and how he is not in it for the money.

UPDATE: The Biebs news knocked O'Bannon our of the show. I am told it may come back at the same time tomorrow (1/23), but it is good until at least the next hearing on 2/3 or if some kind of settlement happened (unlikely). There are no guarantees on a sports story on CNN unless it is Richard Sherman and racist blowback.
