January 31, 1919, my all-time favorite Bruin was born. Jackie Robinson was, of course, influential in changing the sport of baseball, but it was the sport many feel he excelled at least while at UCLA. Today is the perfect day to remember and get to know more about one of the greatest Bruins in history.
The #2 ranked Bruin gymnasts react to their 197.425 score in their meet against #5 ranked Utah on Saturday night.
UCLA senior Vanessa Zamarripa reacts to her score of 9.975 on floor exercise to close the meet against Southern Utah. The Bruins won the meet 196.150-194.875 at Pauley Pavilion on Sunday. Zamarripa was also the all-around winner with a score of 39.475 and was the high scorer on both balance beam (9.875) and floor exercise (9.975).
It looks like Barkley is keeping it classy.
