EA Sports: "The New UCLA Dynasty"

Some folks raised eyebrows when CRN and Chow decided to offer a scholarship to Robert Toma, a two star WR out of Hawaii's Punahou.Well Toma has been lighting it up all season and was a catalyst in Punahou's biggest win of the season last night as he finished the game with 9 catches for 213 yards and three TDs, plus 71 yards rushing on three carries for 284 all-purpose yards. Check out 9 in the clips. For the full story on Punahou's big win go here. Toma will most likely red shirt next season but I can't wait to see him in UCLA blue. He reminds me a lot of Scottie Miller. So for those of you that watch Leno, you are probably familiar with his "Jay-walking" segment where he asks common sense questions on the streets of Hollywood and gets all sorts of ridiculous answers. Well since im procrastinating studying for 3 midterms next week i came across this clip where petey does his own rendition at $C

The questions are pretty dumb and there's not too many questions worth watching but a couple i did find interesting take place at about the 1 min mark when an $C student doesn't know how many teams are in the Pac-10, and at the 2:40 mark when some guy doesn't know the school colors....wow.

Congratulations to Chase Utley and his Philadelphia Phillies for winning the 2009 Wold Series. We are sorry it didn't work out for Fox 71 and his beloved Rays. But as a Bruin we all have to feel good for Chase, one of the better ball players to come out of UCLA in recent years. Chase has been one of the cornerstones for Phillies last few years, and it was his home runs during this series and (unfortunately for many of us) and the last one that set the Phillies on their course to a world championship. Congrats to Chase again. It didn't work out for our local teams or the other teams rest of the BN roots for. There is always next year. GO BRUINS.
