Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Rasheed Wallace notched a season-high 25 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons captured a 106-95 win against the Lakers, sending Los Angeles to its first loss of the season.
Allen Iverson also collected 25 points while Tayshaun Prince logged 18 and dished out six helpers for Detroit, which will finish a four-game Western road swing by visiting Phoenix on Sunday. The Pistons are a perfect 3-0 so far on the trip and 5-1 overall as the visitor this season.
Kwame Brown secured a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards, and Richard Hamilton contributed 12 points as Detroit saw each of its starters finish in double figures.
Kobe Bryant dropped 29 points, six assists, four steals and five boards for the Lakers, who, at 7-0, were tied for their third-best start in franchise history and were the last unbeaten team in the NBA.
Pau Gasol logged a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort.
