Media picks Ben Ball to finish numero uno in the Pac-10:
The UCLA Bruins are picked to finish first in the 2006-07 Pacific-10 Conference Men's basketball race, according to a poll of media members who cover Pac-10 men's basketball. The poll shows that UCLA, the defending Pac-10 champion and Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament champion, gathered 21 first-place votes and is picked the favorite this season.' ARIZONA picked up 13 first-place votes and is tabbed for second place. WASHINGTON is slotted for third place, followed by OREGON, which picked up the remaining first-place vote. CALIFORNIA is picked for fifth, followed by USC and STANFORD. Rounding out the preseason poll is OREGON STATE in seventh, followed by ARIZONA STATE and WASHINGTON STATE.
While we just have hours left till the show gets started in the House that Wooden built. Here is the official site's nitty gritty on Cal Poly Pomona: UCLA opens its exhibition season on Nov. 2 in Pauley Pavilion, when it hosts Cal Poly Pomona. CPP is a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and an NCAA Div. II institution. The Broncos were 17-10 last year and finished third in the CCAA in 2006. Cal Poly Pomona was NCAA Div. II West Region champions in 2003 and 2005, advancing to the "Elite Eight". The Broncos had a string of three straight NCAA playoff appearances (2003, 04, 05) snapped last season, but have recorded 12 winning seasons in a row, the most in program history. The Broncos have a lot of talent returning, including first-team All-CCAA guard Dion Cook (15.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg) and the 2006 CCAA Freshman of the Year, Larry Gordon (6.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg). The Broncos also return five other players who started at least eight games last season. Cook, Billy Hofman (4.9 ppg, 2.2 rpg) and Melvyn Nicholson (7.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg) are the returning seniors on the team. The Broncos also return the services of junior center Kaelen Daniels (7.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg). You all ready for this?!!

Tonight's Game HAS VIDEO!
Check out CSTV for details.
If you pay $5.95....
I happy to see this internet video experiment continue. Imagine if the Pac-10 signed a deal similar to mlb.tv?
not bad
I would LOVE an mlb.tv (without the alleged customer service problems)/MMOD type video feed. Right now, I have to feel lucky that we get 1 or 2 Pac-10 game/week on the east coast. I would certainly pay for that.
I've invested in a Sling Box
good plan
It really does not feel like it has been 8 months since Ben Ball was last with us
Do They Even Listen To Their Own Broadcast?
