Which off-season story are you most tired of, and, on the flip side, interested in? (e.g. Reggie Bush's house, Jimmy Claussen, etc.)

We are never tired of any off season story. It is always fun to write on anything that is tangentially related to UCLA or college football/basketball in general. But I guess if I had to list one pet peeve is the kind of vanilla nonsense spring practice or off season reports you usually see in paid sites following any team claiming how everyone has a new attitude and that they are totally committed and excited even after underachieving year after year. We get that bullshit from paid UCLA fan sites year after year. Everyone can see through that nonsense now except for blindo Dorrell lovers.

I think everyone knows the answer to the question concerning which story we have been most interested in. Just click here, here, here, here, here. You get the picture. We are following the Fall of Troy very closely. We will never get tired of keeping tabs on our corrupt and morally bankrupt enemy.

To be honest we are also keeping an eye on what Karl Dorrell is doing in response to off field issue that is coming up in Westwood and hold him accountable.

Your head coach comes down with a mystery illness and has to step aside. You get to hand pick the replacement for the 2006 season. Who gets your vote?

If I had a choice to pick a replacement coach for the 2006 season, on a pragmatic level, I guess it would have to someone from Dorrell's staff. And  we don't have options. Neither of the coordinators have been HCs at college level. I guess the only coach in the staff with any substantial HCing experience at college level is Colletto, which was an average, mediocre, unimpressive stint at Purdue. I'd probably go with someone like Svoboda to lead the program. I'd imagine the Morgan Center would bring in someone like Terry Donahue, who lives nearby at Bel Air, and would love to cruise through another mediocre season at UCLA.

But if I really had my choice on hiring/firing coaches, I would fire Dorrell today and bring in Butch Freaking Davis:

Lastly, we'll mix the football and the blogging together here. If you could have anyone switch allegiances and start covering your team, who you gonna pick?

I would pick a combination of some of the best. I would want Jay from BGS to give us the most thorough coverage of UCLA football, while also exposing the corruption at USC. I would want to have Joey from Schembechler Hall to always give us a reality check, and I would want someone like Peter over at BON to maintain our narrative of beating the crap out of USC, while maintaining a superb coverage of an athletic program excelling in so many sports. As I mentioned these are three of the best. There are of course few other elite bloggers like Brian at MGoBlog, Kyle over at Dawg Sports who are fantastic on their own right, but I think Jay, Joey, and Peter would be natural matches for BN.

Do you guys have any thoughts on how else I can answer these questions, particularly no. 2?
