Cal Ready 4 Prime Time, UCLA NOT (SF Chronicle)
Looks like Cal's athletic director is rubbing it in (indirectly) on the face of Dan Guerrero:
USC, which will make five appearances, is the only school scheduled to make more appearances than Cal in the ABC series, although several slots will not be filled until after the season begins. Notre Dame also is scheduled for three of ABC's Saturday night games. Stanford is not scheduled for any.ABC will televise Cal's Oct. 7 home game against Oregon, its Nov. 4 home game against UCLA and its Nov. 18 road game against USC. All three of Cal's appearances on the ABC prime-time series will be part of a split-national telecast, with the Cal games being aired in the West while another game is televised on ABC in the East.
"I think it's a great compliment to our program and how it's viewed nationally," Cal athletic director Sandy Barbour said. "It's a great opportunity for prime-time exposure, not only for our football program, but for our institution."
Yeap, the Berkeley hippies have a better football program than UCLA (according to national observers of college football). Again thanks a lot to Karl Dorrell for continuously embarrassing the UCLA football program. This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

I'm not sure that historical Rose Bowl wins
Only three PAC-10 schools have won Rose Bowls in the last 20 seasons; ASU (1987), USC (1990, 1996, 2004), & Washington (1991, 1992, 2001)
Washington isn't ready for Primetime, so maybe that's not really a good metric...
