2006 Season Schedule Poster

The Wiz has been tracking the season schedule posters for all the major programs. He got a hold of ours today:

Says the Wiz:

UCLA's 2006 poster schedule has balance, is easy on the eyes and earns the seal of approval, but it lacks attention to detail and falls short of several other entries. Now how could this piece have been improved? Our main complaint is with the ugly typeface across the top proclaiming "2006 UCLA Football." It's wasted space and shows a lack of creativity. Something is needed here to punch it up and add pizazz. But hey, you be the judge.
I am allright with it. I just want us to win 9 games and beat SC baby. What do you guys think?

Just 23 more days.

GO BRUINS.

I like it
The picture portrays a sense of team unity, which is appropriate for this season considering that this team will definitely need to play as one (especially on defense) in order to meet our expectations around here.

Defense
I think it's just the defensive unit. I can see Skaggs in it. But iirc he was moved to O late in the season.

guess they are highlighting the defense. there is going to be lot of pressure on Walker to deliver.

I like it too
I'm fine with the font.  I like the simplicity of the font and the vividness of the colors.  My only wish is that the UCLA on the top would be bold font as well, like the Football part.

I like it
But i also agree that it the top font is pretty bland. The poster has a very bold and classic look to it and the top just loosk out of place,

Not bad, but....
Dude, if you go to the link and see Florida State's pic and a couple of others.... he's right, THOSE ARE COOL
Go Bruins, Go Howland, F-Lavin, and let's get rid of Dorrell....

Posters
Man, the first game can't get here soon enough, we are debating the merits of a poster.

Please let the games begin.

GO BRUINS!!!

That's pretty sweet
I want it, it'll go next to my Cade Mcnown poster.

That's a great picture.....
to fire me up.  I also like the UCLA logo in the middle and I can live with "champions made here."  It looks fantastic, until you take a look at the "2006 UCLA FOOTBALL" on top which looks like was just quickly slapped on there as an afterthought.

Great poster
I like it a lot. Sure the text at the top could be a bit better, but it's a minor gripe compared to what a lot schools do.

I detest the collage-type posters most schools go with and much prefer one photo or something more understated like the Ohio State poster.

Sometimes it's not easy being an aesthete and a college football fan.
