WEAR BLUE!!!

If you're going to the game on Saturday, please wear light blue. Spread the words. The north end zone of the Rose Bowl will be a sea of red. Let's make the rest of the stadium a sea of blue.

GO BRUINS!!!

I agree
I've had more than one conversation with people this week, explaining to them that the fact that their green or pink or whatever color shirt says UCLA on it doesn't mean as much as wearing blue on game day.  I'm glad that there are so many options for buying clothing that supports UCLA, but it's too bad that each item of clothing doesn't come with a disclaimer that it's still not appropriate for athletic events.

I didn't go to law school, but I know some of the people here did; could we convince UCLA to have each purchaser sign a contract forfeiting the item of clothing if it's worn to the Rose Bowl or Pauley Pavilion?  With a special clause about all away games?

I'm kidding of course, but with the failure of the "Turn Pauley Blue" campaign until the Den took over, it's clear that there's no simple solution to this problem.

I have an idea
Why doesn't the Athletic Department have giveaways and such and only make it eligible to those wearing blue? They can probably convince Lexus to give away a car if their name is said enough times, but only make it eligible to those wearing blue. If they give away pins or posters or anything at a game make it so only those wearing blue can get one. You cannot force people to wear blue, but you can definately entice them into doing so.

I like that one!
Then it is still a choice, but tilted in our favor.

That's a damn good idea.
I like it.
