PG Jerime Anderson committed

Jerime Anderson, 4 star c/o 2008, committed to Ben Howland immediately after being offered a scholarship. I find it interesting that Howland offered Anderson before he offered Larry Drew who scout lists as a 5 star recruit with UCLA being the only school ranked "high" on his list. I guess he sees something special in Anderson, and this also possibly shows an inclination to recruit the 4 star player who will stick around to build a team, rather than a one and done (though I think Derick Rose would be a great one and done catch). I dont know much about Anderson, anyone got the scoop?

Very good friends with Jrue Holiday, playing on the same AAU team, Double Pump Elite. So sounds like great news.

I'm definitely seeing the positioning

for Jrue. Not that Anderson isn't a fantastic get in his own right, because I'm extremely excited to have him suit up for the Bruins. We are fortunate to be in the final lists of so many elite point guards in that class, but the possible setup for a better situation with Holiday is icing on the cake here.

Anderson Fits the Howland System

This kid sounds like a great fit for the Bruins. He's a fine student, an excellent defender, and an unselfish distrubutor of the basketball. Plus he'll probably stick around for awhile. BH has this program rolling!!
