A Classic Letter to the LA Times

HT to MIM for pointing to this letter published in the LAT:

Misinformed
February 17, 2007

So now Joe McKnight misspoke. Dwayne Jarrett mis-stayed at a luxury apartment. Reggie Bush mis-rented a house. Rey Maualuga mis-owned the police.

Isn't it time to consider calling USC a champion a mis-take?

MICHAEL NAUDIN

Alta Loma Effin' classic.

GO BRUINS.

Thanks for the plug.
Just amazed no one else caught this.

I'd have to read the LAT to catch it...
I think at this point most of us just don't care what's in it.  Though this is nice.

Awesome
People are catching on to the shadiness going down over in south central.

Must disagree to an extent
People aren't "catching on."  People have known about it since I was a child.  (The payoffs from the "trOJan Bench" booster group have always been notorious.)  The problem is that no one has ever done anything about it, including the current group of ostriches at the NCAA.  It's just that the fishwrap is getting shamed into writing about some of it.

Great work
Keep it MIM.  Many of BN's regulars may not read the LT, but for those few of us who do, it's great to see letters like yours.

To clarify -- I didn't actually write this one
I just saw it, and wanted the Nation to know about it.  Props to Michael Naudin for crafting a good one.

my bad
I guess I was reading too fast.  Still, it's a fun letter.
