Some Pictures from Sacramento

Ready for the first game.

The bench

Mata is a worrior...threw up at the bench and still went back in to play.

Our point guard.

A Mata dunk

Pre-Indiana game team huddle

My favorite picture of the starting 5

Second favorite picture

Indiana trying to inbound the ball at the end of the game, right before Collison stole it...notice Roll and Keefe yelling at the Indiana player.

And of course, our amazing dance team...To the tune of "cum on feel the noise" by quiet riot

I'll be taking some more pictures in San Jose.  I am fortunate enough to be in the band and have amazing seats to the game.   I got to fly on the team chartered plane.  Howland wasnt relaxing on the short, 1 hour flight and was watching and studying film all flight.  The team was enjoying themselves a little, throwing pillows at eachother preflight.

I suggest you waive the wordage (a word I just made up) requirement for Bluejoe.

Even if only for the picture of Keefe and Roll.

I think Nestor will forgive the 200 word minimum
Nice pictures!!!!   See you in San Jose!!!

Great pictures BlueJoe
Amazing pics Joe. I will use them over next 48 hours (if you can you should tag them as BN so they show uo on our facebook account).

As for photo blogging, you can go around the 200 word count by posting two pics in the "intro copy" (first box) and then the rest of it in "extended copy."

Great work!!!

PRICELESS!!!
Check out Ben's face, right between the ball and the Indiana player's head (inbound pass picture)! It is friggin' hilarious! It looks like he's going to just mutilate the guy!

How funny would it have been if AA2 just pulled down the guy's shorts? Well, except for the technical, of course...

Question for you guys?
which of these pics should we use for tomorrow's game thread?

Collison leading the huddle
Though I also like the "walking into the sunset" starting 5...

"walking into sunset"
I just don't like the theme of that ... if you guys know what I mean.

how about
Walking Into Battle

Vote for "Dance Team" :-D
No but seriously, I like "walking into battle" as a caption more. Walking into the sunset means we're done.

An honorary, unofficial, vote for D
D is the one I keep coming back to, to be honest, but I have to keep reminding myself, focus on the game, focus, focus...

in westerns
the hero walks into the sunset after kicking ass and killing the bad guy too. that's what I was going for, not that we were done! Sheesh :)

Much better title
if that's the one to be used.

Yeah, I was trying to think of something else
To call it, but then I thought you would get confused.

I like the one with Keefe/Roll/Coach
I think it emphasizes the "team" concept more than anything else.  Roll and Keefe weren't on the floor, but they were definitely in the game.  And that can be said about and extend to the fans who scream at the tops of their lungs at everything.

Haven't the players already said that the yelling and excitement helps?  Anyway, that's my vote.

i forgot to mention
that one of the cheer guys talked to an official and apparently one or two of them were the same officials from the last years championship game against florida...

also, in saturday's game against indiana, nikola dragovich wasnt on the team bench.  when we got on the plane after the game, he was quarantined to the back of the plane because he was sick and was a liability.  so they stuck him in the back of the plane so he wouldnt get anyone else sick.  he rooms with westbrook and i guess he got kicked out of the room and had to sleep in the living room (they live in the suites)...however westbrook said he would make him tea.   nikola seemed okay when we flew on the plane yesterday as he was sitting with the team.
