TrOJie Gets Knocked Out (In 38 Seconds)

Remember TrOJie wide receiver Johnny Morton. Apparently the dude tried out for martial arts. He got beaten the crap out of him in his first fight and got knocked out/humiliated in less than one round and then refused a drug test:

Former USC and NFL receiver Johnny Morton suffered a devastating, first-round knockout in his mixed martial arts debut Saturday night at the Coliseum, was taken to a hospital for observation and then refused to supply a urine sample for drug testing.

Morton has been suspended, according to Armando Garcia, executive director of the California State Athletic Commission.

Morton was unavailable for comment. Well we hope the dude is all right. Apparently he took a vicious hit: Facing Ackah, a fighter from the Ivory Coast who was in his second pro match after winning his debut by knockout, Morton walked into a right hand that landed on his left temple, sending him crashing to canvas so forcefully that his head bounced off the surface.

Morton, apparently unconscious when medical personnel got to him, was placed in a neck splint and put on a stretcher.

But by the time he was carried out of the ring, he had recovered enough to flash the victory sign to the appreciative crowd. He apparently trained for this "fight" for 2 months.

At least he didn't kill anyone.

UPDATE: Insomniac has the video:

Oh man
self-promote whenever you want.  Your site is great on its own but that clip was just classic.

Can someone please post this clip on Criminals Conquest or whatever that site is called?  I refuse to frequent that neighborhood.

Naah
Why give those losers any attention? I don't go over there. Looks like the guys over here don't link them any more. Why give these morons any of our attention. F**k them.

I agree with you
I was being semi-facetious.  I just hope the SucSters get a good look at this clip.

so..
Is it standard practice to request a drug test from the guy who just got the shit kicked out of him?  I don't see how that connects.

It's natural and proper
to request a drug test from any athlete from justsc at any time for any reason.  Or maybe they were thinking he was Mark McGuire.

The periodic table
added Marinovium and Toddium plus several other new elements when he had his first blood test.

Sounds like
drug testing is mandatory after fights. And it kind of makes sense.
