A Total Fraud

ESPN having a field day with UCLA.

In WWL's bottom-10:

FWIW the WWL did up that special graphic for Karl Dorrell's program, and I think it is perfect. It is accurate. That is exactly what this clown has done to the image of our alma mater's football program.

And that's not enough. WWL is also rightfully calling out the Thinker as what he really is - a fraud - placing UCLA in the "fraudulent four":

UCLA (11). The Dash foolishly ignored Karl Dorrell's past precedent, which screamed that his team would mail in at least one lame performance against an unranked team. (See: Stanford loss 2003, Washington State loss 2004, Arizona loss 2005, Washington loss 2006.) The Dash's faith in a veteran Bruins' team was rewarded with a 44-6 quit job against wounded, winless Utah. Pathetic.
Sounds just about right. (HT to drummersix)

Now only if Dan Guerrero could figure out how to send a text message.

GO BRUINS.

At least we are the best of the worst
The fact that we are the only team on the list with a winning record makes it all the more embarrassing.

Also
I noticed that another team in that Fraudulent Four was Florida St.

After the ass-whooping we got in the Nut Bowl, I guess that makes us #1.  But what else should we expect from someone who coaches like a prison b*tch?

Ranking
The #5 spot is reserved for a fraud team. Someone who is expected to be good, but has a major meltdown. The Bruins won't be on the list next week.

Why?
Because we're not a fraud - a team that was expected to be good that had a major meltdown?

If #5 is reserved for that type of team, then I suppose another beatdown by the Huskies will move us somewhere other than # 5, but still in the bottom ten.

I suppose CTS will be happy to know that he's got a ranked team.

No UCLA won't be in the bottom ten pole next week. A loss to UW while unexpected, wouldn't be a big enough shock to put them back at #5. Michigan made back to back #5s losing to App St and getting boat raced by Oregon on national TV.

As for making it on the list at another position, look at those teams. They are REALLY bad, UCLA would have to not win another game and it would still take 5-6 weeks to get to that level. Except for the #5 spot, most of the teams on the list only win 1-3 games in an entire season.

We deserve all of this
On a national level, if it wasn't for Michigan losing to App St we would be the headline for the wrong reason.

Come to think of it....after suffering this humiliating defeat, on television at least, we haven't got much heat.  That is how "insignificant" this program has become under KD.  A #11 team falling to a winless team and nobody thought we were news enough that they didn't even waste their time.  GameDay barely mentioned us.  Pathetic.

That was a stupid ESPN article.  What else can we expect from that sorry medium?  UCLA's debacle is mostly irrelevant anyway.  The joke in Tucson is getting more attention.

"Champions Made Here"...?...the AD would better right the football ship than continue with that marketing BS.

I feared this
Earlier this year, I wondered if somehow we'd land in the bottom 10 pole over ESPN.  I thought if we did I wouldn't care 'cause I'd know the whole season would be fradulent.

It hurts though, much more than I thought it would.  It's pathetic is right, good job Pat Forde.  Strong words from him, accurate words from him.  We suck.
