Very cool
I'm really looking forward to taking lit'l M and the newest lit'l M to the Rose Bowl next week.  Heaven help my wife and I, as we attempt to corral two little one under two, but some things just have to be done.

In the opera business,
the person who tries to take care of the children's chorus or the little kid supernumeraries is shown in the program as "Child Wrangler."

Your young-ens should do fine at the Rose Bowl.  I'm sure they have blue and gold paint or wallpaper in their room, so they'll be right at home.  I think I saw a new product that you might like from Fisher-Price - toddler handcuffs.  Give it a try.

(This is one of the benefits of having a toddler who is now 30.  He takes care of me at games.)

Worth it...
My wife and I took our 8-month old to the Stanford game in 92+ heat. We made it to the middle of the 4th quarter, with only an occasional meltdown (when Stanford scored...hahaha). It wasn't as bad as I expected, and probably would have been much better had it not been for the heat.

As Nestor mentioned previously, the stadium was FULL of Bruins, and not just in the Visitors section. We were in the Southwest corner of the stadium (Stanford alumni section) and we were SURROUNDED by Bruins. I can only imagine that the Rose Bowl will be pretty full next week...

GO BRUINS!

Best. Video. Ever.
Awesome find. I liked this video better than the ESPN video.

And M -- congrats on the newest M, and hopefully you'll have the opportunity to make a version of that video yourself in a few months.

Thanks
Yes, I've already made this season's trip to the student store to stock up on mini Bruins gear.  Can't wait.

Does that bring back memories . . .
Actually, unpleasant ones, to be honest.  I remember my oldest kid as a baby, being more frightened than excited by football, and I think I'm to blame.  It was 1991, and we were watching the $C game on TV when Kevin Williams took a pitch and went like 90 yards around right end for an untouched TD in the first win of "the Streak" and the Mad Bruin went psycho with delight.  And the chip off the old block went into floodgate tears mode - probably wondering what made Dad go bonkers.   Well, we got it right with the second one, though, and he and this graying Bruin will be making the drive up 15 this coming Saturday.  Hopefully SPJ has no lingering sense of fealty toward the "old School" or any residual sectarian-based loyalties that get in the way.  ONLY a 7 point fave?  Gimmeabreak, Vegas!

My father used to carry me
in that exact same fashion. In fact, he dropped several times during the overly exciting moments of the games. Good times. Good times.
Duke and North Carolina called: They want Steve Lavin back. GO BRUINS!!
