Timmy's Falling on the Sword Saves Mayo 6 Game Suspension
Per Yahoo! Sports.
By admitting complicity, Timmy saved Juice Deuce at least a 6-game suspension. That seems like quite a big difference in penalty since NCAA rules were still violated: link.

Timmeh's Credibility Gap
BTW, is this a "lose-lose" situation for $C? By admitting that they approved the free tickets for JuiceDeuce shouldn't that implicate the institution in an NCAA violation? I'm not holding my breath to see what sanctions are handed down! And as I've said before, I think free Laker tickets are the tip of the iceberg in the JuiceDeuce travesty.

personally I don't care that much.
