Bushgate Update
According to Yahoo!, All Star Sleazebag Reggie Bush skipped out on his scheduled deposition today. His attorneys are attempting to seal the deposition off from the NCAA and the media. This of course leads to some obvious conclusions:
The motion filed Monday apparently seeks to block Lake's attorneys from sharing the depositions, naming both the NCAA and the media in the motion."It's so that we can't share the transcripts with the NCAA, which is a huge admission of guilt," said Lake's attorney, Brian Watkins. "Reggie Bush has repeatedly said that he has nothing to hide, and now that he has to testify under oath, he's saying he doesn't want what he says shared with the NCAA. Now all of the sudden it's `Hey I'm going to have to admit to some things and I don't want them out there.'
Nothing to hide, eh? The hits just keep on coming...
Watkins said he believes the request to withhold Bush's testimony from the NCAA will fail."You do protective order like that for personal information like bank account numbers, tax records, juvenile records and things like that," Watkins said. "But you don't get it to conceal fraud and wrongdoing and things like that. You can't just say `Oh, I'm going to have to admit to something, so you can't let anyone see it.' That's not what a protective order like that is for.
"After bringing a gun to a deposition, nothing surprises me from these guys. But these are clearly acts of desperate men at this point."
Desperate men. These don't look like the actions of a party that has the truth on its side now does it? Bush's house of cards is coming down, and it will only be fitting that SUC gets some of the blowback as well.

I would deny a motion for protective order
I also don't think bu$h has standing to argue that something bad would happen to justsc. I would love to have them jump into the case and ask for a protective order because they don't want the NCAA to know what bu$h did.
And I don't think that bu$h really has standing to object to disclosure of his testimony to the NCAA. He's beyond reach of anything they can do.

Any San Diego lawyers reading?
Their rationale for requesting a PO just has to be priceless.

ahh but you guys forget!
Remember the old saying about corruption in politics? It's not the votes that count, it's the counters.
The longer this drags on the less hope I have that SC and Reggie Bush will receive justice.

Comical
What is up with Trojans running from the law when they get called on their BS? Maybe it's because they went to a "university" where there are no rules, regulations, or penalties. I mean, this guy is really painting the picture of an innocent bystander in all this propaganda, huh?
Roger Clemens is just as bad by telling boldfaced lies directly to Congress. I'm pretty sure his decision to call out the government could turn out to be one of the greatest backfires of all time. Talk about hubris.
