CRN at UA Game and Stan Love Interview

Unfortunately, the only coverage on CRN's halftime intro was this little segment, followed by CRN's interview in the stands with Erin Andrews. Ms. Andrews does allude to the possible poor choice of words CRN used during the halftime introductions of the coaching staff.

Ms. Andrews also interviewed Stan Love and seemed to raise his spirits.

Watch Stan's eyes as Erin talks about bothering Stan with interviews. I think he's enjoying himself. Maybe Ms. Andrews can convince the Love's to stay in Westwood for more than a year.

I saw something on Yahoo Sports that I didn't think I would ever see. Yahoo Sports has a column called "Big Bad Bruins." This was about the basketball team, of course. But I'm tired of being the gutty little Bruins when it's football season. I want Coach Walker to stir the pot a little. I want Coach Chow to shove the ball down people's throats. I want Coach Neuheisel to run a team known as the "Big Bad Bruins." And after watching the halftime comments, I think they'll do it. The last guy that talked big and meant it was Coach Toledo. His successor never said anything intelligible, so I'm not sure what he was muttering about. But the new regime is obviously fired up, and so is the Den, and so am I.

I can't wait for our six game winning streak in the tournament, and I can't wait for football season to start.

Geezers, we need to pick a game to fly in for. I nominate Steve H as chairman of the ad hoc transportation coordination committee. I make this nomination (a) because he's Geezer 1, and (b) because he's the elder stateman.
