Stanford vs UCLA Pac-10 Tournament Final
Go directly to the game highlights.
What can you say about 2nd-team all-conference Darren Collison? 2nd-team? Are you kidding me?! But Collison doesn't get mad - he gets even, becoming the MVP of the Pac-10 Tournament. Collison controlled the tempo and scored at will against the Cardinal, on his way to 28 points. Meanwhile, Love played through back spasms with a gutsy performance, and still managed to score in double digits. But the big key for the Bruins was the play of James Keefe, as he would score eight points in 21 minutes.
The rest of the team did their thing too, but it was Keefe who would start a key run at about the seven minute mark in the second half, as the Bruins pushed the lead to 10 points with a little over two minutes to play. Shaky (4 of 8) free throw shooting down the stretch gave Stanford a last gasp chance with 2.9 seconds left. However, the Bruins emerged victorious capturing the Pac-10 Tournament championship and what should be a #1 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

Brilliant
Putting the clips together into "highlight reels" for the different players and stuff is great btw, as are the local commentary segments. Fox and others may complain about the announcers but it's good for us Bruins in exile to hear them, for old times sake if nothing else!
Roll on the first round!
Telemachus Thanks so Much
On a technical note, I can no longer get the clips in Safari so I'm watching them in Firefox. I've not changed anything in Safari or on my Mac or it's operating system.
Thanks.
These clips are awesome, but

Keefe
More importantly, what Keefe showed in these games (and whatever he might do in the tournament) is exciting and crucial for next year and the future. As many of us expected, KLove is starting to move up the NBA draft board towards the lottery, and there's no doubt that he's going to be able to rebound, outlet, score and shoot in the NBA. Bill Simmons called him "an uncanny mixture of Wes Unseld and Bill Laimbeer." Whatever, que sera sera--we're all living in the moment with KLove, no one more so than KL himself. In thinking about Keefe (and KL), I was thinking that LRMM will definitely be gone next year--but now I'm realizing that we'll probably be seeing an extraordinary senior campaign from both him and AA. Wow. And Drew Gordon will be joining the squad as well. But no matter what happens, JKeefe sold me on the fact that he's going to be an outstanding player over the next couple of seasons, with great length, toughness, rebounding, and ability to hang out around the basket, while his shot and scoring will improve with playing time and confidence. It's an exciting development.

Thank You
Tele, you don't know how much joy you bring to those of us forced to rely on Eastern Sports Programming Network.
Another thanks to T
A word about UNC, as I watched a lot of their game against VT, particularly TH's great game-winning shot. This am, in the pregame runup to the UNC-Clemson game, erstwhile coach Lavatory said something to the effect that "I used to think there was a Hansborough in the Pac 10...," an obvious slam against KL. It goes without saying that there's nothing I would like better than to see a UCLA-UNC final!
