Top 15 Juco Transfers Include De'End Parker

De’End Parker, UCLA, SG – The combo guard originally committed to Cal before switching to UCLA, where he’ll help make up for the surprising loss of Malcolm Lee to the NBA draft. Parker played both guard positions at City College of San Francisco. He averaged 13 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as a sophomore.

New Basketball Walk-On, Khalid McCaskill

According to this young man's twitter, he's committed to UCLA, likely as a preferred walk-on, somewhat like Alex Schrempf. His profile claims he's adept at attacking the rim, but from his highlight video, he seems to have a silky jumper, albeit a somewhat inconsistent release. He doesn't get much elevation, executing more of a set shot, but certainly has plenty of confidence. He will need to rectify that if he wants playing time in the guard rotation; high-major basketball rarely allows much leeway to set shooters.

Guard Norman Powell signs with UCLA Basketball team

Jon Gold and Blair Angulo reported. Powell is from Lincoln High School in San Diego, Calif. Last season, he averaged 19.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.7 steals.

Norman Powell to UCLA!

What a great weekend! First the outstanding performance from our gridiron warriors and then Coach Howland and his staff land a highly rated hoops prospect. Norman Powell, the #1 SG in the West per Scout committed to UCLA on Sunday. Powell is a very athletic combo guard that...wait for it...likes to man up on defense. Go Bruins!

Raymond Nelson (Reeves' "Little" Brother) Commits to UCLA

The full story is behind BRO's firewall, but the short of it is that Raymond Nelson, Reeves' younger brother, has committed to come play football at UCLA. Looks like they are envisioning him playing TE for the Bruins. If he has even half the fight that his brother showed last year, this is a great get for CRN. Welcome Raymond! Go Bruins!
