Looks like Pac-12 media is in sync with the expectations at BruinsNation. From the Pac-12 released linked above: Media have correctly picked the Conference winner 12 times in 19 tries. The media were successful with their choice in five of the previous seven times UCLA was slated to capture the league crown. GO BRUINS.

The Bruins have questions in the backcourt, but the frontcourt is about as potent as anywhere in the country. Reeves Nelson and Josh Smith return and the Wear twins -- Travis and David -- are eligible. . . The key for Ben Howland is guard play, though, and Lazeric Jones will need to take another step forward.
