Michigan State and UNC basketball programs are getting national hype in UCLA's backyard, in a made for TV basketball game event on USS Carl Vinson. The game is the brainchild of Spartan AD Mark Hollis, whose creative thinking and effort stands in contrast with the inept actions of UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero.
There he is. UCLA is number 15 in SI's pre-season rankings and Mr. Nelson is on the regional cover. According to the official twitter account this is the "123rd instance a Bruin has been on the cover." Crossing my fingers that there is no jinx. Let's get it. GO BRUINS.
