RIP Carl Kraushaar, Wooden's First Bruin Center

Carl Kraushaar, the first center to play for John Wooden in Westwood, passed away today at the age of 84. Kraushaar was on Wooden's squad for two years, from 1948 to 1950. He was the leading scorer for the 1948-49 squad, named all-conference, and led the Bruins to their first NCAA tournament appearance in school history (if only he knew what the future held). Rest in peace Carl. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. GO BRUINS

Tony Robbins Interview with Coach Wooden

Motivational speaker Tony Robbins posted on his website audio files of an interview he did with Coach Wooden about 20 years ago. The two files combine for over 90 minutes of audio. The link is only going to be up for 48 hours, so if you're interested, you should download the files soon. I haven't listened to all of it yet, but based on the first several minutes, it sounds like Coach Wooden shares his philosophies and how they developed.
