An explosive offense and solid performance from Gerrit Cole lifted UCLA over Arizona St., 10-3, and moved them into a first place tie in the Pac-10.

The offense let UCLA down again and wasted a fine pitching performance by Zack Weiss as UC Irvine came away 2-1 winners.

Adam Plutko continued his masterful pitching and Chris Giovinazzo made his Senior Day count as UCLA defeated Cal, 5-2, to grab the series.

Gerrit Cole turned things around and pitched great, but the offense was non-existant and Cal took down UCLA 4-0 in the series opener.
