Mora Officially Adds Yarber (WR) & Alosi (S&C) to UCLA Staff, Shifts Around Coaching Personnel

Jim Mora today announced the hiring of two additional assistant coaches: Eric Yarber as Wide Receivers Coach and Sal Alosi as Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning - Football, a new position at UCLA. Both of them are solid additions to the staff. Mora also announced an interesting "shift in the responsibilities" involving Angus McClure and Inoke Brectkerfield. Mora moved McClure from Special Teams Coach/Recruiting Coordinator to Defensive Line Coach/Recruiting Coordinator and announced that Breckterfield "will have the opportunity to remain on the staff in a football operations role." We will see how that plays out. One has to assume given McClure has no experience whatsoever in coaching DL, this is a temporary move and that he is going to keep the seat warm until a DC with DL experience is hired in Westwood. Guess we will know in few more days. GO BRUINS.

Pagano Stays in SD

According to the article, Pagano will be named the Chargers DC. No specific time/date for the official announcement, but Turner's and Pagano's comments are telling. Sorry IE Angel, I know you put a lot of effort into that post!

John Pagano an "early favorite (in the clubhouse)" for new Chargers DC?

Interesting tweet from Chargers beat writer Kevin Acee at the San Diego Union-Tribune. I guess it's a good sign that Pagano is wanted by the Charger players. However, now the concern is whether Guerrero will make sure Mora has what he needs to put together a package that Pagano will not be able to turn down. We would love to hear from Chargers' fan on BN on this. Feel free to share your thoughts in a fanpost if you have extended take. Thanks. GO BRUINS.

Eric Yarber Rumored to be Hired as UCLA's WR coach

According to current recruit Ishmael Adams, former Tampa Bay WR coach Eric Yarber has been hired as the WR coach at UCLA. While this is just a tweet from a player, we've been hearing about this for a while now. Awesome hire. GO BRUINS!

Possible DC and ST Coaches: John Pagano (Chargers) & Jeff Ulbrich (Seahawks)

"San Diego Chargers linebackers coach John Pagano is expected to be hired as defensive coordinator and Seattle Seahawks assistant Jeff Ulbrich as special teams coach, while current UCLA assistant Angus McClure will be retained, according to people familiar with the situation who are not authorized to speak publicly." [LA Times]. Info on John Pagano: Chargers' Bio. Info on Jeff Ulbrich: Wiki, Seahawks Bio.

ASU Snagging Pitt's Todd Graham

This comes out of the left field. Reports indicate that ASU is snagging Pitt's Todd Graham. Graham is a defensive oriented coach who did a nice job building Tulsa. He jumps around though as he is leaving Pitt only after a year (he left Rice after one year as well). Should be interesting to see if Noel Mazzone makes the jump from ASU (to UCLA as our OC). GO BRUINS.

Mora adds two ace recruiters - Klemm & Broussard - to UCLA staff

Report via KCBS. Adding these two gentlemen should add major recruiting firepower in the Bruin staff. Great start for Mora. GO BRUINS.

UCLA Football Closing on ASU Assistants?

SBN Arizona is reporting that UCLA is closing on Broussard, Mazzone likely to follow. We'll wait for official confirmation, but it's an interesting development.
