The USC Trojans are dealing with the decommitment of Jason Hatcher, the uncertain situation with Ty Isaac & Eddie Vanderdoes, and are still trying to land others. UCLA has similar problems, but Tahaan Goodman and Priest Willis would make life easier.

Hopefully Sark or one of his staff was able to carve out some time to watch this game. Because if he did, I've got to think that LB/RB Myles Jack has moved up the recruiting board. Although Jack is a verbal to UCLA, he has been a frequent visitor to Husky practices during fall camp. Rumor has it that the Huskies haven't been feverishly pursuing Jack due to concerns about grades and other issues. Reportedly Jack is making progress in addressing those concerns. That's good, because Jack is really good. He had a 66 yard TD run and a huge sack that were instrumental in winning the game, along with lots of other contributions. I think he is the best athlete in the state of Washington and he is at the top of my wish list for closing out the 2013 recruiting class. If the Husky defense is going to get to the next level, Sark needs to land guys like this...and Jack is in his backyard. Oh, and 2014 PSA Budda Baker looks pretty good too.
