Some folks raised eyebrows when CRN and Chow decided to offer a scholarship to Robert Toma, a two star WR out of Hawaii's Punahou.Well Toma has been lighting it up all season and was a catalyst in Punahou's biggest win of the season last night as he finished the game with 9 catches for 213 yards and three TDs, plus 71 yards rushing on three carries for 284 all-purpose yards. Check out 9 in the clips. For the full story on Punahou's big win go here. Toma will most likely red shirt next season but I can't wait to see him in UCLA blue. He reminds me a lot of Scottie Miller. Lou thinks the pressure is on Norm Chow to come up with a good offense, even though we have thoroughly discussed and shown how it would be foolish to expect too much out of this team given our issues. Jesse Palmer provides some good insights saying how CRN will have a "huge impact" but "this is going to be a very trying season for UCLA" due to a tough schedule.
