The MTA is considering a Metro Line to UCLA. Would something like this aid in getting an On-Campus Stadium?

The plan was approved by Pasadena City Council. It includes a 30-year lease extensions with UCLA and the Tournament of Roses. [Update (10/13/2010)]:According to the Pasadena Star News, "UCLA is contributing $16.4 million toward the project, which includes revenues used to pay debt service and upfront money, said the city's finance director Andrew Green." What does it mean?

According to Blair Angulo of ESPN LA starting in 2011 the Rose Bowl "will undergo a three-part, three-year renovation project that will run concurrently with the venue's many events, including UCLA football games." Details in the link above. GO BRUINS.

From the Pasadena City Star: The City Council took a big step toward renovating the Rose Bowl by committing $4.1 million in funds to preliminary design work on the plan. The city's plan for the 87-year-old stadium is a $170 million project that will bring in new luxury suites and high quality seating options to make the stadium more profitable. City officials are hoping to start renovation by January, a timetable they have acknowledged will be challenging to meet. As part of the process, the council on Monday night heard results of a survey of what prices fans might be prepared to pay for a new set of luxury boxes and premium seats. The survey of a group of 3,000 UCLA fans was conducted over the Internet, and more than 500 in-person responses were gathered from fans at a game. GO BRUINS.
