Gymnastics: UCLA defeated San Jose State 197.575-193.200. Tauny Frattone had a 9.950 on the vault. Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs received a 9.950 on floor exercise. Vanessa Zamarripa had a 9.9 on vault. Water Polo: The Bruins defeated Michigan 10-8, winning their third game in two days.
At the Cal meet, Vanessa Zamarripa was perfect on the vault and helped the Bruins to a 196.675 - 192.500 win over the Golden Bears. It was Zamarripa's fifth career perfect 10 on vault
