Then a easy second set 25-15 and third set 25-23 to finish the sweep at Galen Center Friday night, thanks to the large UCLA student section (boys & girls). Great week! Pepperdine first, then the Trojans, plus No. 1 BYU was defeated by Stanford. It broke the 5 game winning streak by the downtown school. UCLA (11-1, 6-0) has won 9 straight and is undefeated in conference play. They honored Al Scates with a Trojan jersey with the No. 50 on it.
